The exhibition features 7 artists, 2 of whom are newcomers to the gallery. The first newcomer is Jef Diels, a specialist in 17th-century painting techniques - a technique that shows as few brush strokes as possible, not to say no brush strokes.
The second newcomer is sculptor René Beaumont. His works are mainly classically inspired. The chosen theme often betrays a preference for ancient cultures or the ideas of yesteryear. From mythological metaphors to traditional academic subjects, preferably in a less obvious context or in combination with contrasting elements.
On the left you can see a couple of previews. In addition, we also exhibit other works. Including sculptures by Mark Dedrie and paintings by Christiane Vleugels.
