On an area of a 2 square kilometres, our seaside resort has around 80 galleries, one of the highest concentrations of art galleries in the world. Art Knokke-Heist is the event for the art lover. A lot of art galleries coordinate their agendas with each other 3 weekends per year for an opening event (vernissage). This takes place on the first weekend of the Belgian summer, autumn and Easter holidays. The 26th edition is planned for 29 & 30 June 2019.
